Tim Kogan brings 15+ years of high-stakes M&A and strategic advisory experience to founders navigating critical crossroads. His unique perspective comes from both sides of the table - as an investment banker who's structured hundred-million-dollar deals and as an operator who's led turnarounds, negotiated partnerships, and served on boards during pivotal moments.
Previously Director of Investment Banking at FinPoint (Rothschild & Co affiliate) and Capital Times, Tim has advised on over $1 billion in transactions. He's also been in the trenches as CEO of a global express division of Nova Group, multiple boards' member and strategic advisor to dozens of founders through exits, conflicts, and transformations.
Since 2019, Tim has maintained a selective advisory practice - working directly with 8-10 founders annually on their most sensitive decisions. His approach combines institutional-grade financial analysis with the strategic thinking that only comes from having lived through these situations himself.
Beyond his advisory work, he co-founded the Israeli Association for Ethics in AI and currently leads Capital 8X, focusing on AI transformation strategy.
Tim holds an MBA (Gumma Cum Laude) from Tel Aviv University's Coller School of Management and New York University's Stern School of Business. He also earned an MA in Finance (Summa Cum Laude) from Tugan-Baranovski National University.
